General Manager

Spinologics is looking for a General Manager:



Spinologics mission is the improvement and development of new technologies for the treatment of pathologies of the spine. Our team, a group of innovative surgeons and engineers, is constantly working to advance and innovate current surgical devices and techniques. Spinologics was founded with the main principle of using rigorous research and development methods to bring the best products to the market.

We are looking for a General Manager (GM) to propel us to new heights. Our young team of engineers and surgeons is looking for a dynamic person who can help us achieve our goals.




Reporting to the President, this person is responsible for managing the P&L and managing the operations while pushing to grow the business stronger. He/she is responsible for preparing and managing budgets, sales and marketing, R&D, quality assurance, managing daily activities, overall, managing the human, material and financial resources of the company. In general, he/she is responsible for the profitability and sustainability of the company.




Participates in the financial and budget planning process.

Supervises and is responsible for all accounting / financial activities of the company.

Supervises and is responsible for all quality assurance activities of the company.

Builds and executes a strategic sales & marketing plan.

Follows the activity reports of the company and ensures good management of the organization.

Ensures sound management of all assets of the company.

Mobilizes and supervises his/her team.

Ensures proper management of the team and ensures best practices are applied.

Seeks to develop an organizational culture based on collaboration and teamwork.

Ensures sound management of the company in accordance with the principles of good governance.

Ensures that laws, rules and regulations are respected.

Ensures compliance with various compliance policies.



Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or a related field

5-10 years experience in a similar position

Experience in biomedical / biomechanical field – a plus

Experience in quality control – a plus

SME Experience – essential

Bilingual (English and French written) – essential

Excellent knowledge of business processes

Very good knowledge of financial analysis

Entrepreneurship, someone that can easily bring people together
